I've been a NASM certified personal trainer for 13 years, have practiced with my yoga foundations certification for 7 years, I'm an educator, a momma to three fur babies living in Minnesota near beautiful Lake Superior, running enthusiast, and an aspiring winemaker.
I strategize with busy working individuals that struggle to find time and energy for exercise, and create a realistic approach towards a healthier lifestyle which includes
exercise, nutrition, and rest.
My mission is to challenge and educate each client to their full potential with progressive training sessions that include positive energy and variety.

Bite Into This Tip: Plan Ahead
It's inevitable: stress is a part of all our lives. Unfortunately, low times can hit us unexpectedly.
Plan ahead for stressful times by keeping frozen fruits and veggies, canned meat (like tuna) and beans, rice and quinoa, and a loaf of frozen or refrigerated 100% whole wheat bread always on hand.
This way, when time and energy are low, you still have plenty of ingredients to make a seemingly healthy meal.

Stay Consistent With This Tip : The 10 Minute Rule
The next time you're lacking motivation to get in an exercise session, or you're working on establishing the habit of more exercise and are unsure of where to start; give yourself the 10 minute rule.
The 10 minute rule consists of you setting aside at least 10 minutes of exercise or stretching, each day, regardless of your energy level. Most times, you'll complete 10 minutes and want to go longer! But, if you're still not feeling motivated, you can give yourself a high five for completing those 10 minutes of added movement!
