Sweat. Smile. Repeat.
I've been a NASM certified personal trainer for 12 years, have practiced with my yoga foundations certification for 7 years, I'm an educator, a momma to three fur babies living in Minnesota near beautiful Lake Superior, running enthusiast, and a winemaker.
I strategize with busy working individuals that struggle to find time and energy for exercise, and create a realistic approach towards a healthier lifestyle which includes exercise, nutrition, and rest.
My mission is to challenge and educate each client to their full potential with progressive training sessions that include fun and variety.
I strive for everyone to reach their goals through enhancing nutrition knowledge and increasing body efficiency through proper, safe exercise movement.
Whether you're contemplating beginning an exercise program or have been an avid exerciser for years, I utilize my passion and knowledge to create a workout routine that fits you through the comfort of your own home.
Sessions can be completed virtually, or an in-home visit.
All in-person visits will accommodate your comfort level of social distancing and wearing a mask.
Let's create a fitness routine that will help you save time while reaching your full potential. All my personal training plans include full exercise sessions virtually or in-home, movement guidance for sessions on your own, and appropriate eating recommendations. With your consent, I'll partner with your physical therapist, chiropractor, coach, or anyone else supporting your journey to ensure your goals are realistic and attainable, keeping you on track and motivated.
Enjoy a private 60 minute yoga or pilates session while you and your favorite gal pals stay in the comfort of your home!

Then, relax with a complimentary glass of wine (21+).
'I loved taking the Vinyasa Yoga session. Our instructor demonstrated the exercises so we could see the correct technique. I felt encouraged and supported - will definitely take more of these private classes!'

Bite Into This Tip: Plan Ahead
It's inevitable: stress is a part of all our lives. Unfortunately, low times can hit us unexpectedly.
Plan ahead for stressful times by keeping frozen fruits and veggies, canned meat (like tuna) and beans, rice and quinoa, and a loaf of frozen or refrigerated 100% whole wheat bread always on hand.
This way, when time and energy are low, you still have plenty of ingredients to make a seemingly healthy meal.
My free Walk this Weigh guide will assist you in taking control of your eating habits and understand proper nutrition.

I was so excited to find Shannon was available to come to my home once a week to get me back in my routine. She has programs designed for my needs and also gives me programs to do during the week. She takes the time to set up programs that are varied and that benefit me to work toward my goals. She is also very encouraging and helpful with any questions I have whether it’s about exercise or nutrition. She has brought the fun back to exercising and I look forward to her cheerful attitude every week.

Stay Consistent With This Tip : The 10 Minute Rule
The next time you're lacking motivation to get in an exercise session, or you're working on establishing the habit of more exercise and are unsure of where to start; give yourself the 10 minute rule.
The 10 minute rule consists of you setting aside at least 10 minutes of exercise or stretching, each day, regardless of your energy level. Most times, you'll complete 10 minutes and want to go longer! But, if you're still not feeling motivated, you can give yourself a high five for completing those 10 minutes of added movement!
Step towards a stronger future with more confidence by creating your own exercise program! This free
tool-kit will give you the system to build an exercise routine that fits your lifestyle.
No one individual is the same. Our family, work and personal life, our goals, physical activity level, and exercise knowledge is all different. Each workout program I create will be tailored to just that. On your schedule. Virtually or in-person.
