Well hello there, I'm Shannon!

I've been a NASM certified personal trainer for over 13 years, have practiced with my nutrition coach certification, I'm an educator, a momma to three fur babies living in Minnesota near beautiful Lake Superior, running enthusiast, craft beer lover, and an aspiring indoor gardener. 


One dynamic that will always be held tried and true, is that no one individual is the same. We all have a story, and we all face various struggles. Our family, genetics, work and personal life, our goals, physical activity level, and exercise knowledge are all different. My mission is to provide you with strategies, education & support that work for you. 

What I want for you

I want you to look in the mirror & feel confident in your own skin. I want you to increase your strength so you can complete tasks easier, whether that's carrying groceries, hiking, going up & down stairs, getting up & down from the floor, or running a 5K. I want you to improve your balance so you aren't fearful of falling, to decreased your stress & anxiety for a life full of joy, & create healthier eating patterns to fuel your body properly & achieve your goals.

My core feels stronger, my shoulders and upper body feel stronger. I appreciate how Shannon works the core with various movements, not relying on just sit-ups. Her cues helped me make sure I was feeling the exercise where I should be feeling it, and it helped bring my mind back to the present - rather than on my to-do list. After a month of following a plan, I am seeing food and my body differently.  I have been focused on my weight and desiring weight loss most of my life.  Now I am attempting to focus on eating whole, natural foods including some carbs (gasp!).  I am eating and enjoying more fruits and water.  I plan to continue on this path along with my strength training and other exercises that have been set up for me!
