After a month of following Shannon Polson's Walk this Weigh I am seeing food and my body differently.  I have been focused on my weight and desiring weight loss most of my life.  Now I am attempting to focus on eating whole, natural foods including some carbs (gasp!).  I am eating and enjoying more fruits and water.  I plan to continue on this path along with my strength training and other exercises Shannon has set up for me!

I see it all too often; people making unrealistic goals that they can't manage, then give up when the going gets tough or they're not seeing immediate results. 


This practice will not advocate you to complete a short term fix, or to establish habits that you’ll be unable to maintain for life. I believe small changes each day add up to big results. These worksheets are meant to mindfully challenge and prepare yourself for a new lifestyle pattern of healthier eating during the winter, and year round.

'It's not going to be easy, but it'll be worth it!'

I met Shannon a year ago when I started going to silver sneakers as she was one of the instructors. I enjoyed the variation every day and the fun she brought to the classes, which made me look forward to going 4 days a week.   Once COVID  started, my routine stopped.  I have osteoporosis and I realize exercise is important and even though I have good intentions, I lack self discipline and am confused about which exercise would benefit me the most.
